This year the calendar raffle becomes my responsibility. I wanted to do something a little different this year. This year I want to thank and welcome home all our Vietnam Veterans. This makes the calendar a little more personal to many comrades and Auxiliary Members to buy one for themselves or as a gift to a Vietnam veteran. I have discussed this idea at a few district meetings I have attended and everyone really likes the idea. The previous raffles have been successful, but I want to make this the best calendar raffle we have done so far. But I need your help. What I am looking for is to have your members (that are Vietnam veterans and belong to a post in Virginia or Auxiliary member of a Vietnam veteran) send me a photo of them while they were in country along with their name, year in country, a brief description or quote for the photo and VFW post number they belong to.
